Nowsaday, Coffee drink become well known worldwide and the coffee beverage business is rapid growth. Wherever you go, you will find coffee houses, coffee shops, coffee bars and every corner in shopping mall you see cafes, cafeterias or internet cafes around.
So dont worry. If you need a cup of coffee, you can find it anywhere.

Don’t get me wrong! I will focus on only coffee drink category, not that barista guy. I swear. hehe (… blush)
Espresso, Espresso Ristretto, Espresso Lungo, Americano, Cappuccino, Latte, Caffe Au Lait, Mocha, Frappe … etc.

Let’s start with Espresso, the base coffee for other coffee drinks.

Espresso Espresso (Caffe Espresso), crema, dark reddish-brown, strong concentred taste with potent flavored coffee aroma Espresso is served in pre-warm demitasse (a typical kind of small coffee cup). Um… the percentage of Caffeine is also high too. Espresso is a traditional Italian brewing style coffee. While pouring Espresso to hot water that call Long Black style Americanos, it will preserve the crema. Enjoy your smooth Americano with adding milk, cream and sweetener syrup if you prefer in American style.

Espresso Macchiato Espresso Macchiato (Caffe Macchiato), a small foamed milk on the top basic Espresso. Traditional Espresso Macchiato is topping or dropping either steamed hot milk or cold milk (about 1 teaspoon) over one shot of Espresso. The contrast white milk foam is created many shapes as art pattern, calls Latte art. (Latte means milk). This Latte art makes Espresso Macchiato different from Espresso.

Espresso Con Panna, basic Espresso adding with whipped cream on top, is served in demitasse. Espresso Romano, basic Espresso serve with a twist or slice of lemon. Coffee drinkers believe the lemon balances the taste. Espresso Cubano, traditional Cuban style Espresso, is brewed with raw sugar. Espresso Breve, basic Espresso with heated half and half milk added, whether or not it’s foamed.

It Is a Italian brewing style coffee. Traditional Cappuccino is prepared by pouring hot steamed milk to the Espresso, topped with frothed milk (in the ratio 1:1:1) and serves in a 4 to 6 ounce pre-warm bowl shaped cup. Add some powdered cocoa, cinnamon or vanilla syrup on top. And Cappuccino Freddo is cold Cappuccino that use whipped cream instead of the frothed milk.

Caffe Latte Caffe Latte, smooth, steamed milk fill to a single shot of basic Espresso is served in a Latte mug. It may look like Capuccino but Caffe Latte is much less foam and more steamed milk. And steamed milk is created Latte art by pouring or etching technique on top of hot Caffe Latte. You can have iced Caffe latte style also, just adding ice and cold milk is used instead. This is a popular coffee drink in America. Flavoured Latte, flavours add on top Caffe Latte. The most popular favours are cocoa, almond, Hazelnut or syrup such as vanilla, caramel, strawberry and etc. I guess, you will love this coffee drinks too.

Caffe Au Lait Caffe Au Lait, brewed or strong drip brewed coffee is served in a bowl shaped cup and separately served with heated milk. It is French brewing style coffee. When you drink Caffe Au Lait, you can mix the milk to coffee as you prefer. Caffe Con Leche, Spanish brewing style coffee. Drip brewed coffee mixed with sugar, is served with heated milk separately also.

Caffe Mocha Caffe Mocha, adding powdered or chocolate syrup to a hot shot of basic Espresso. Blending the mixture before pouring the steamed milk. And then you top this Mocha with whipped cream. You can have Iced Mocha also. With adding cold milk and some ice after the mixture is blended. Smoothy Mocha taste it is!

Frappe Frappe, frothed milk top on iced coffee smoothie is served in tall clear glass or mug with straw. Some people call it, Frappuccino. The iced coffee smoothie is blended brewd basic Espresso or instant coffee, water, ice, sugar and syrup (chocolate or vanilla) as you taste. Delight your day with Frappe!
